Mountainstate Orthopedic Associates (MOA) are proud to introduce our new Joint Preservation Center, in coordination with Mon Health. Our surgeons have been leaders in orthopedic care since MOA was founded in 1977.

We’ve always been progressive in the field of cartilage restoration procedures and other joint preserving treatments, both operative and non-operative. We’re proud to be at the at the forefront of innovation in orthopedic medicine.

Our surgeons at Mountainstate Orthopedic Associates, are utilizing the most modern and innovative techniques in joint preservation surgery. Significant joint pathology is not common among the aging population anymore — we are seeing an increase nationwide in the population of young people with significant joint pathology. These new techniques allow us to provide complete joint care and give these patients the opportunity to maintain their native joints as long as possible.

Some of these techniques include microfracture, drilling, abrasion arthroplasty, osteochondral autograft, and allograft transplantation, stem cells and tissue engineering as well as newer orthobiologic techniques.
